Presentation coach for teams that need to convince

Since 2015 we have prepared teams in companies, universities and research institutions for board presentations, press conferences, conference talks and investor pitches.

We come to you, and we work on the presentation that is actually coming up.

What we do best
We are strongest when a team has a specific goal and little room for a presentation that misses.
The format that works best is a multi-day in-house training followed by one-to-one sessions. The group days build the craft. In the individual sessions we work on what each person actually has to say on the day. The combination does more than either format on its own.
Our subject focus is complex material: research, technology, data, regulation. And groups that have to present together — research groups, accelerator cohorts, entire departments. We work in English and German, both at native level, so a mixed room is not a problem.
We also run single training days. One of our longest-running projects started as a single pitch training and is now in its third year.
Who books us
Accelerators and innovation programmes. You run a cohort that has to present at the end. We get the teams to a point where the presentation does the project justice.
Universities and research institutions. For graduate programmes and science communication: researchers who have to represent their work in front of funders, review panels or a non-specialist audience.
Companies and teams. L&D and HR leads, press and communications departments, and team leads whose people are presenting to the board in a few weeks.

How we work
  1. A maximum of 12 per trainer. So that everyone stands up more than once and gets individual feedback. Larger groups we split, bringing in additional trainers.
  2. Two sets of eyes. On speechwriting and script work, a second person always reads it before it goes out.
  3. The slides as well. For appearances that also have to work visually, we work with a designer. The presentation then comes from one place, from storyline to finished slide.
  4. What happens in the room stays in the room. We film exercises so participants can see their own effect. Those recordings go to the person filmed and to nobody else.
One-to-one or as a group
We train whole cohorts as readily as individual teams or individual people:
  1. In-house group seminar for your programme or your cohort -> Group seminars
  2. Individual coaching for single teams or people → Individual training
How a training runs
  1. Initial call. 30 minutes on the phone, free. We want to know who is presenting, to whom and when, and where you think it currently goes wrong.
  2. Concept. We build the training around your occasion, using your slides and your audience.
  3. Training. On site with you or remote. Short inputs, plenty of practice time, individual feedback for every person.
  4. One-to-one sessions. Afterwards we keep working with the people who have a specific appearance ahead of them. That is the part clients come back for.
Tell us what is coming up. Tell us briefly who is presenting, to whom and when. We will get back to you by phone.
Previous projects
Delivery Hero
More than 120 employees in one-to-one training, plus trainings for entire teams. Preparation for internal presentations, presence in meetings, and the confidence to hold a position when senior people are in the room.
Bayer
Press conferences from the first idea through to the appearance on stage: concept, storyline, slides, and preparation of the speakers.
Falling Walls Foundation
Every year 20 of the world's leading science communicators come to Berlin to present their projects to an international audience at the Falling Walls Conference. Since 2018 I have been preparing them to bring their engagement projects to the stage. See the winners here.
The trainers
Structure, storytelling, delivery and confidence are connected, but each of us works on a different side of it. On larger projects two or three of us are in the room, and on smaller ones we bring each other in when a project calls for it.

A physicist, once. During his studies he took experiments into schools for the Institute of Physics, where he learned to explain physics so that schoolchildren listen with enthusiasm. He then ran PR for the DACH region at an international software company.
A trainer since 2015. Visiting lecturer at the Hasso Plattner Institute, University of Potsdam, where he taught the course „Präsentieren wie die Profis“ in the 2023/24 winter term. He has also spent two days at ESA’s ESRIN centre in Italy preparing researchers from around the world to present their projects.
Author of The Elevator Pitch for Entrepreneurs (2019) and I Hear You (2026). Trains in German and English, both at native level.

Dr. Stefan Götz, Trainer und Coach bei Berlin Speaking
Dr. Stefan Götz
Trainer and coach
25 years in banking and change management, today a Director at the Association of German Banks. He has spent long enough inside large organisations to know why good ideas fail there.
He works above all on the confidence of the person who has to stand up. Alongside that, strategic storytelling: which story works in a particular room, and how an idea gets told so that a team carries it.

Dyane Neiman, Trainerin bei Berlin Speaking
Dyane Neiman
Trainer
Founder of THE bEAR, a Berlin stage for autobiographical storytelling, and a performer herself for decades. Before that a dancer and choreographer in New York and North Rhine-Westphalia: 14 dance theatre productions and the Theaterzwang award four years running.
Her focus is delivery: body, voice, movement, timing. She has worked with researchers at the Roche Innovation Center Basel and prepared a GIZ team that won the GIZ Innovation Fund pitch against more than 100 applicants.
She trains in English.
From the conference stage to the boardroom: turning good work into a talk that carries it.

The session with Pascal was honestly mind-blowing. He asked the exactly right questions, leaving me with so much food for thought, helped me to unblock some anxieties and taught me methods to overcome initial triggers.... he was able to change my whole attitude and I am still trying to figure out how he did his magic.

I feel transformed and highly recommend Pascal for 1:1 coaching, with a focus on public speaking! Thank you Pascal for this experience - I will be forever grateful
Dmitrios L. Wagner
MD/PhD at Charité and Berlin Institute of Health
Pascal is the best speaking coach I know. We have worked together on two different projects: a 90 seconds video coach and a TEDx talk.

He is smart, creative and patient. Prepping a project, he is attentive, soaks up new information and provides precious support at any stage of a project (early conception, final speaking training). Pascal always goes the extra mile to get the best out of you. In summary? I highly recommend him!
Matthias Bannas
Head of Association Communications, BDWi
Pascal moderated the Berlin Pub Talk on nudging with a great deal of charm and command of the room. He got the experts Dr Jana Diels and Linda Teuteberg into a real conversation with the audience. … and so what is nudging, and where are the pitfalls? That became clear. You can read it up here.
Frequently asked questions
What languages do you train in?
English and German, both at native level. Mixed-language groups are not a problem.
How large can the group be?
12 people per trainer. Above that we bring in additional trainers, so there is no fixed upper limit.
Will you come to us?
Yes, with no travel restrictions. We train regularly outside Berlin, including in Switzerland.
In-house or remote?
Both. Multi-day formats we recommend on site. Follow-up one-to-one sessions work just as well remotely.
How long does a training take?
From a single day to programmes running over several weeks. It follows from the occasion.
What does it cost?
That depends on format, duration and group size. Tell us briefly what it is about and you will get an estimate quickly.
